Purpose and performance:
Stannous octoate is the main catalyst for the manufacture of polyurethane foams. Stannous octoate plays an important role in the gelation reaction of polyurethane foam, and can also be used in polyurethane elastomers, polyurethane coatings and other products. This product has good catalytic effect, stable quality, high stannous content and good oxidation resistance. This product is soluble in polyols and most organic solvents, insoluble in water. Exposure to air is susceptible to oxidation.
Storage and Precautions
This product is highly susceptible to oxidation, should be placed in a cool and dry place for storage, packaging barrels are filled with nitrogen protection. Once opened, it should be used up as soon as possible, and the lid should be tightened during storage. The shelf life is 12 months.
